Saar Rombout started in a youth circus at the age of 6.  After high school she went to New Zealand and ended up with a circus family.  She graduated in 2012 from the circus school ACaPA (Fontys Academy for Circus and Performance Art) in Tilburg, the Netherlands, where she specialized in triple cloudswing and vertical dance. After school she participated with Camera Boreal to make the first documentary about modern circus called “Grazing the Sky,” featuring Ms. Rombout and seven other circus artists from all over the world. Besides performing her solo in triple cloudswing and a duet with Maartje Fijen combining dance and triple cloudswing around Europe, Saar also works as a rigger for other circus artists and theatre.
